For agents and developers

Today the Expansas Financial MCP server is in private use, with credentials we issue. Self-serve agent sign-in is not available yet.

When it opens, your AI tool connects over MCP with details we send you. Tools match your role, and every change is logged. Changes are proposed, and a person with the right role approves them.

Planned capabilities

• search_transactions: Find transactions by vendor, memo text, amount or date range.
• query_transactions: Run a structured filter and group-by over the ledger, for example total by category.
• get_account_balances: Return balances for one or more accounts as of a date.
• get_entity_summary: A one-screen overview of an entity: revenue, expenses, cash and open items.
• analyze_spending: Break down where money went and flag the categories that moved the most.
• compare_periods: Compare two periods side by side with dollar and percent change.
• find_anomalies: Surface unusual transactions such as duplicates, outliers and odd timing.
• forecast_cash_flow: Project cash for the next few weeks from recent patterns and open invoices.
• explain_categorization: Explain why a transaction was put in a given category.
• generate_financial_statement: Produce a P&L, balance sheet or cash flow statement for a period.
• propose_change: Suggest a correction, such as a reclassification, for a person with the right role to review and approve.
